Malcolm X was best known as a human rights activist who was a prominent figure in the civil rights movement in the United States during the 1960s.

Arguably, he was a controversial figure, but he was a vocal advocate for Black empowerment, and he remains a widely celebrated figure within African American communities for his pursuit of racial justice.

If we can learn anything from his life and work, I think, it is that we do not have to accept the unacceptable. If a cause is just then it is worth pursuing. We can and should push back.
