Now, many a girl has experienced the dilemma of being sweet on a boy who simply doesn’t pick up on the signals.

I’m sure many a boy has had a similar experience with a girl for whom he’s fallen.

Unrequited love is just a part of life as we know it.

Well, today, I’ve tried to consider it from the girl’s perspective, and it is reflected in the poem.
