10 great thought-provoking quotes

Thought-Provoking QuotesAs you may recall dear reader, I’m always looking for great quotes, especially those that really get me thinking.

Just recently I’ve collected a batch of what I think are some great though-provoking quotes and so I thought I’d share them with you.

All of today’s quotes fall within the category of ‘Author Unknown‘ unfortunately but they’re still worth a few moments of your time.

So here’s some brain food to get your day started. I think some of these quotes are real gems, so I hope you find them interesting.

Thought-provoking Quotes:

  1. Life’s tough for everyone but it’s even tougher if you’re stupid
  2. Experience enables you to recognize a mistake every time you repeat it
  3. Profanity is the effort of a feeble mind to express itself forcefully
  4. Don’t mistake activity for productivity
  5. If silence is golden, not many people can be arrested for hoarding?
  6. You’ll never make your dreams come true by oversleeping
  7. Never have a battle of wits with an unarmed man
  8. Never argue with a fool; people may not notice the difference
  9. If quitters never win, and winners never quit, then who is the fool who said, “Quit while you’re ahead?”
  10. If ignorance is bliss, why aren’t there more happy people?

If you enjoyed these quotes do let me know which one you thought was the best.

Personally the one I like is “Profanity is the effort of a feeble mind to express itself forcefully.”

All too often nowadays people use profanity as a lazy and ill-considered form of expression. And rarely does it reflect well on anyone in my opinion.
