Poem to Celebrate the Working Class

In a world driven by ambition, and big money, it’s easy to overlook the quiet strength of those good people on whom much of society depends. The people who make a difference and without whom nothing would work. In short, where would we be without the working class?

The working class, also known as the working poor or blue-collar workers, refers to people employed in occupations requiring either manual labour or modest levels of skill, often with limited financial resources and social mobility.

I don’t think such people get the credit they deserve for the contribution they make. So, in today’s poem, I thought it was time we honoured them.

These people are the hands that build, the minds that create, and the spirits that persevere through challenges most of us will never see.

Today’s poem is a tribute to those unsung heroes.

They deserve recognition, and they deserve more than they get.

Let’s take a few moments to remember ordinary people.
