Why attitude matters

The greatest day in your life and mine is when we take total responsibility for our attitudes. That’s the day we truly grow up. ~John C. Maxwell

If you want to get anywhere at all in life then your attitude is everything. How you view the world; how you react to what happens to you; whether you take a positive or a negative view. It really does matter.

You can be bitter, twisted and cynical and believe the whole world is against you. However that won’t get you anywhere nor will anyone be impressed. If you’re looking for a pity party then you’re unlikely to find one. No one likes a bad attitude in others.

However there is another way.

You can look at every setback as an opportunity to learn and prove yourself. Think of setbacks as challenges that will improve your character and make you a better person. They’re just opportunities to learn and grow.

So react positively, whatever happens. And when good things happen to you learn to appreciate them. Be grateful for the good that comes your way and appreciate all the good people in your life.

You won’t succeed with a bad attitude but with a positive attitude you can go as far as you want to go

Life’s never easy for anyone but it’s a lot easier with a positive attitude, I can tell you that from experience.

I’ve tried both good and bad attitudes in my time and I’m here to tell you that I’ve yet to find anyone who’s impressed by a bad attitude. However with a positive attitude you can charm the birds out of the trees. Positivity is infectious.

A positive attitude is easier on your central nervous system too. Constant negativity will just wear you down, as well as everyone else.

Remember this too; being stupid and cheerful is easier to live with than being smart but constantly angry.

The choice is yours. What’ll it be?
