Daily Money Minute

Fotolia_54867638_XS_5Essentially yesterday’s message was don’t spend money you haven’t got. Spending money you haven’t got is the road to the poor-house. However you might be in the fortunate position of having a little bit of money in your pocket. So is it a good idea for you to spend it freely? In a word, No! When you see that item you’re tempted to buy, just ask yourself, “Will I really use it?” Then ask yourself, “Do I really need it?” And finally ask yourself, “Is it good value for money?” If the answers to all these questions are “No!” then don’t buy it. Use your money for things you really need and things you’ll really use. And make sure you always get good value for money. Shop around; check out the prices online. Use your money wisely and the chances are you’ll never be poor.
