We are social animals, so we need other people in our lives. So value the people in your life. Don’t neglect them; make time for them. Life is short and if you ever get really sick or infirm you will need them. Your career is all very well but it won’t take care of you in difficult times, your friends and family will. Work is important of course but people are more important. So get the balance right because life goes by all too quickly and if people think you have no interest in them, one day you will find that they no longer have any interest in you.
