Omar Khayyam was a Persian mathematician, astronomer, poet and philosopher. He was born in what is now Iran in the year 1048 and he was widely respected by his contemporaries and succeeding generations. In fact his work is still widely respected today and arguably he remains one of the most important cultural figures in Middle Eastern history. Here are 15 quotes by Omar Khayyam which I think reflect his philosophy.
