If you’re unfamiliar with the late Maya Angelou, she was an American poet, writer and civil rights activist. She’s published numerous autobiographies, books of essays, books of poetry and was credited with a list of plays, movies and television shows spanning over 50 years. For me she was an inspiring thinker and I admire her work. Here are 15 quotes by Maya Angelou to illustrate why I think she was an inspiration to us all.
