Quote of the Day

Vector illustration of speech bubbles“Take a chance! All life is a chance. The man who goes farthest is generally the one who is willing to do and dare.” ~Dale Carnegie

You cannot possibly get to second base unless you take your foot off first base. And sometimes that means you’ve just got to go for it. And there is always an element of chance when you go for it. However you judge a situation as best you can and you follow your instincts. Maybe you’ll be struck out or maybe you’ll score a home run. Strike out and people will say, “Oh, unlucky!” Score a home run and they will dance and sing and shout your name. Either way you’ll feel good about yourself for having a go. It’s always better to try and fail than never having tried at all. You cannot succeed unless you try something. So never fear failure. Fear the regret you will feel later in life when you wonder what might have been. There is nothing like the feeling you will get with success. However the road to success is paved with failures and lessons learned. Learning the lessons is fine it’s all part of paying your dues. If it gets you where you want to be then it’s worth it. So go on, take a chance.
