Quote of the Day

If you’re waiting for that perfect day when everything will just fall into place for you then all I can say is, “Good luck with that.” You will be waiting until the end of time. Occasionally circumstances will deliver us a little bit of luck and a favourable outcome. However that is the exception rather than the rule. Mostly if you want things to happen then you will have to make them happen. You have to decide what you want and you have to work hard and pursue your goals with tenacity and drive. If it’s worth having, it’s worth working for. Nothing worth having will ever come easy. You have to pay your dues and earn your success. The most successful people are driven by the desire to succeed at whatever they do. The desire for that success is as important to them as the need to breathe. People will say, “If only I had the time.” Yet we all have the same amount of time; 168 hours each week. It all comes down to how you use your time and the priorities you set. Successful people will focus their time on their goals. Unsuccessful people squander their time watching television or gossiping on the phone or on some other unnecessary pursuit. Time is a precious commodity to be used wisely. If you’re happy to waste your time then that’s your choice. However you must accept that in doing so you are missing out on becoming the person you really could be. You’re letting opportunities pass you by.
