Why it’s important to deliver on your promises

Promises mean everything but after they are broken sorry means nothing. ~Author Unknown

Don’t promise what you can’t deliver.

If you promise something then you must be confident that you can actually deliver it. No amount of excuses after the event will impress anyone if you fail to deliver.

It’s always better to under-promise and over-deliver.

This is particularly true if children are involved. One of the worst things you can do to any child is to make them a promise and then fail to deliver on it.

Do that too often with children and they will never believe anything you say.
