Daily Money Minute

Much as we all aspire to do work we love, let’s not forget that ultimately work is a means to an end. Essentially work is doing stuff for other people in exchange for money. That money then provides us with the means to put bread on the table, a roof over our heads and clothes on our backs. However work hard enough and you can earn a lot of money. Manage that money wisely and you can build capital. Invest that capital intelligently and create income streams of your own. When you have a private income in your own right then you can truly pick and choose the work you do. Then you only have to do what you enjoy doing; that thing that gives you a genuine sense of purpose. Creating a private income can be done and it is a worthy aspiration I think.
