9 great thought-provoking quotes

A couple of weeks ago I posted some thought-provoking quotes and the response from readers was amazing. So as I came across a few more I thought I’d share them with you too. All fall within the category of ‘Author Unknown’ but they are still worth a few moments of your time.

So here are those thought-provoking quotes to get your day started and I hope they get your brain ticking over too. I love quotes that make me think and I think the nine included here are quite brilliant. So enjoy them all.

Life’s tough for everyone but it’s even tougher if you’re stupid

Experience enables you to recognize a mistake every time you repeat it

Profanity is the effort of a feeble mind to express itself forcefully

Don’t mistake activity for productivity

If silence is golden, not many people can be arrested for hoarding?

You’ll never make your dreams come true by oversleeping

Never have a battle of wits with an unarmed man

Never argue with a fool; people may not notice the difference

If quitters never win, and winners never quit, then who is the fool who said, “Quit while you’re ahead?”

If you enjoyed these quotes do let me know which one you thought was the best. For me it has to be “Profanity is the effort of a feeble mind to express itself forcefully.” All too often nowadays people use profanity as a lazy and ill-considered form of expression. And rarely does it reflect well on anyone.
